CORRECTION AND SPEAKING



Correction should not mean insisting on everything being absolutely correct. Correction means helping students to become more accurate in their use of language.


There should always be times in our lessons when we simply encourage fluency. At such times, we don´t correct linguistic mistakes unless they affect the communication of what the students want to say

CONCLUSION



Even if the teacher tells his students that they should try to express thenselves freely, it will be difficult for the students to behave in this way when they see that it is not the teacher´s way.





Teachers could base their status on the fact that they are successful examples of what their students aim to be: people from a shared background who have achieved an ability to communicate in English





Learners need a clear idea of the language taht exists outside them, and a strong feeling that the language is developing inside them
